Quality control begins the moment raw materials arrive at the AMSOIL manufacturing facility. Prior to acceptance, every component undergoes rigorous lab testing to assure that it meets the rigid AMSOIL standards. Testing continues at every stage of manufacture culminating in final testing of finished products before packaging. Since all AMSOIL products are manufactured in Superior, Wisconsin, consistency  is assured whether the product is delivered to your plant or anywhere around the world.

Petroleum lubricants are refined from crude oil, a natural substance pumped from the earth and containing diverse chemicals. Some of the chemicals in petroleum oil are detrimental to the lubrication process and to the lubricated components. For example, some petroleum oil chemicals invite oxidation in high temperature operations. Oxidation quickly destroys lubricant integrity

Synthetic lubes, on the other hand, are not refined from crude oil, but constructed from pure chemicals selected for their ability to lubricate. The purity of synthetic lubricant basestocks significantly reduces lubricant oxidation, which promotes the ability of synthetics to be used in higher temperatures applications than conventional lubes may be and promotes their ability to be used for extended drain intervals. In fact, AMSOIL synthetic lubricants are specifically formulated for extended drain intervals.

AMSOIL Biodegradable Hydraulic Oil exhibits high biodegradability and low aquatic toxicity, along with superior oxidative stability, low temperature performance and outstanding results in laboratory and extended duration pump testing. It contains anti-oxidants that ensure long oil life and foam inhibitors that promote problem-free operation. It is hydrolytically stable and ideal for use where water contamination is a problem.

Carefully designed additives help prevent pump wear and protect critical components from rust. AMSOIL Biodegradable Hydraulic Oil meets the stringent Vickers M-2950-S and I-286-S hydraulic oil specifications

AMSOIL PC Series Synthetic Compressor Oils are long-life, premium compressor lubricants based on novel, proprietary technology. They incorporate the highest quality, thermally-stable PAO synthetics fortified with premium non-detergent, ashless additives for maximum protection at high temperatures and pressures. They last up to eight times longer than petroleum oils, effectively reducing maintenance and waste oil disposal costs.

AMSOIL DC Synthetic Compressor Oils

AMSOIL DC Synthetic Compressor Oils are long-life, premium compressor lubricants based on novel, proprietary technology. They improve compressor efficiency and extend drain intervals in reciprocating (piston) compressors and vacuum pumps where high discharge temperatures or carbon build-up are a concern.

AMSOIL DC Synthetic Compressor Oils incorporate the highest quality, thermally-stable synthetic esters fortified with premium non-detergent, ashless additives for maximum protection at high temperatures and pressures where petroleum lubricants typically break down.

AMSOIL synthetic greases are formulated for component lubrication and protection in normal and high-stress conditions, such as high speeds, high temperatures, heavy loads and wet applications. All are synthetic based lithium complex greases forti­fied with extreme pressure, anti-rust and anti-corro­sion chemistries and all are capable of extended service lives. AMSOIL Series 2000 Synthetic Racing Grease is specially formulated for severe, high­speed/high-temperature conditions. AMSOIL Multi-Purpose Grease is made for day-to-day high­speed/high-temperature applications. AMSOIL Polymeric Truck, Chassis and Equipment Grease delivers excellent wear protection and extreme-pressure performance over extended service intervals in medium- and heavy-duty applications. Oil analysis enables maintenance personnel to evaluate motor oil service life and engine condition and save significantly on downtime, equipment repair and oil-related costs.

• Accurate, reliable Oil Analyzers Inc. findings may be used to reduce equipment replacements and repairs, reduce the volume of lubricant purchased and des­tined for disposal and reduce equipment downtime.

• Oil Analyzers Inc. normally turns out reports one working day after a sample is received. When a time-sensitive condition is detected, OAI calls with the information.

AMSOIL Heavy Duty Metal Protector (MPHD) is the product of choice for metal surfaces that require a heavy duty lubricant or are exposed to the damaging effects of salt, moisture or chemical corrosion. It is ideal for hinges, wire ropes and springs, nuts and bolts, motorcycle or bicycle chains, and for undercoating wheel wells and other metal surfaces exposed to water, dirt or road salt.

Metal Protector (MP) are easy-to-use spray-on products that protect metal surfaces, displace water and silence squeaks. MP cuts through rust and corrosion to restore free movement of “frozen” hardware parts.

AMSOIL MP is the product of choice for drying electrical and ignition systems and protecting electrical equipment from freshwater and saltwater damage. It contains no silicone.

Perfect for lubricating non-metallic surfaces that come into contact with metal, nylon, cardboard, fiberglass, wood or plastic surfaces. Use anywhere a light-duty or silicone lubricant is required. Special non-staining formula. USDA H-1 rated for incidental contact with food. Excellent for waterproofing leather boots, shoes, jackets, suede, etc.
