Filter
WIX oil filters hold more than 45 percent more dirt than the
leading national brand. We could stop here, but we're sure
you want to know why.
Oil filter effectiveness is measured three ways: particle
size retention (filtration efficiency), dirt-holding
capacity, and resistance to flow.
Made with a full metal base plate for superior strength
at the double seal & also feature a silicone anti-drainback
valve. Glass-enhanced media in WIX oil filters offers
greater efficiency, capturing more 10 to 12 micron sized
particles than other cellulose/synthetic blend medias
The dirt-holding capacity of WIX filters is significantly
larger than the minimum manufacturer requirements between
oil changes, which provides you with added security that
contaminants captured by the filter stay in the filter.
A low restriction to oil flow is also critical to
protecting vital engine parts. All WIX full-flow oil filters
for automotive and light truck applications use
arch-pleated, prescription-blended media, which provides low
initial restriction to oil flow less than 2 psi pressure
drop when filtering oil at a rate of 4 gallons per minute at
normal operating temperatures.

Donaldson
P-Series Lube Filters
Donaldson P-Series filters are
constructed with full synthetic or synthetic blend media for
high efficiency. The media is embedded deeper into the
sealing plastisol than conventional filters, allowing better
sealing longevity. The lube filter can is constructed of
heavy gauge steel, with many models having domed tops that
provide superior pressure fatigue performance. The center
tube allows more flow without compromising strength, and the
louvered design eliminates tearing during pleat movement.
The can and base plate are I assembled using a fully tucked
seam, roll-formed threads, a nitrile sealing gasket and a
compression spring holding all the components in place
within the filter.

Remote Oil Bypass Filtration System
The Ea By-Pass Oil Filter provides
the best possible filtration protection against wear and oil
degradation. Working in conjunction with the engine's
full-flow oil filter, the AMSOIL Ea By-Pass Filter operates
by filtering oil on a "partial-flow" basis. It draws
approximately 10 percent of the oil pump's capacity at any
one time and traps the extremely small, wear-causing
contaminants that full-flow filters can't remove. The AMSOIL
Ea Bypass Filter typically filters all the oil in the system
several times an hour, so the engine continuously receives
analytically clean oil. Includes
both filters and spin-on adapter.
